Beautiful Beaches

We headed to Ihla Grande to indulge in some beach time.  There hasn't really been much proper beach action on the trip so far, so we chose Ihla Grande as it's known for having some of the best in the areas. 

Having been there I now understand why Brazil has a reputation for having beautiful beaches ... it's just because they are!  Miles of white sands, bright blue skies and crashing waves ... not a bad way to spend a few days!

We spent our days making our way to different beaches, either hiking or taking a boat, then sunbathing and playing in the waves, followed by beers and fish stews; a great way to relax before hitting Rio!
